Ronaldo, Duran and Mane guide Al-Nassr to AFC Champions League semi-final
Al-Nassr's major stars all found the back of the net as they comfortably dispatched Yokohama F. Marinos on Saturday.
Al-Nassr secured their place in the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League Elite with a dominant 4-1 victory over Yokohama F. Marinos.
Cristiano Ronaldo was on target at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium on Saturday, along with former Premier League stars Jhon Duran and Sadio Mane.
Duran opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark, before Mane doubled Al-Nassr's lead just four minutes later.
A 12-minute blitz was complete when Ronaldo tapped in on the rebound from Marcelo Brozovic’s saved shot.
Duran struck again three minutes into the second half to make it 4-0, before Yokohama pulled one back through Kota Watanabe.
However, Watanabe’s joy was quickly dashed when he was sent off midway through the half for picking up a second yellow card.
Earlier, Al-Ahli also booked themselves a spot in the final four with a comfortable win over Thai side Buriram United F.C.
Roberto Firmino provided the assist for Riyadh Mahrez’s opening goal just four minutes in.
Galeno extended Al-Ahli's lead before Firmino capped off the victory, teeing up an all-Saudi semi-final against Al-Hilal.
Al-Nassr, meanwhile, will face one of Kawasaki or Al Sadd in the last four.
