Douglas Luiz is set for another spell on the sidelines after sustaining a thigh injury.

The Brazilian suffered the injury in the second half of Juventus' 1-0 win over Cagliari on Sunday.

Having come off the bench in the 62nd minute, Luiz was then forced off the pitch again just 20 minutes later.

Luiz is reportedly expected to be out for at least two weeks and is likely to return after the March international break.

Luiz has already missed 13 matches in all competitions this season and has made just one start in Serie A since the start of 2025.

The 26-year-old will miss Juve's Coppa Italia quarter-final clash against Empoli on Wednesday.

Juventus, who won the competition last season, are looking to reach the semi-finals of the competition for the seventh consecutive year.

Should they retain their title, Juventus would claim a record-extending 16th Coppa Italia trophy.
