Duran seals Al-Nassr move from Aston Villa
Al-Nassr have confirmed the signing of Jhon Duran from Aston Villa on Friday, days after Unai Emery admitted he was resigned to losing him.
Jhon Duran has left Aston Villa to join Al-Nassr on a five-year deal.
The forward has penned a deal that will keep him at the Saudi Pro League club until 2030 in a deal reportedly worth up to £71million.
Duran has scored 12 goals in 29 appearances for Villa this season, including seven goals in the Premier League, with the first four of those coming as a substitute.
Overall, he netted 20 times for Villa in all competitions, including their winner against Bayern Munich in the Champions League earlier this season.
The Colombian joined the Villans in January 2023 from Chicago Fire and had signed a new contract with Villa earlier this season to keep him at the club until 2030.

"Everyone at Aston Villa would like to wish Jhon all the best in the next step of his professional career," the club said in a statement.
The 21-year-old will join new team-mates Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane at Al-Nassr, who currently sit third in the league table.
Before sealing his move to the Saudi Pro League, Duran had been of interest to West Ham in the last two transfer windows, though Villa rejected their bids.
Duran's departure leaves Villa with Ollie Watkins as the club's only recognised striker, though his future has also been cause for speculation in recent weeks after a reported bid from Arsenal.
