Williamson lets 'the media have fun' after second triple-double in two weeks
The New Orleans Pelicans beat the LA Clippers 127-120 on Tuesday, thanks largely to the efforts of their main man.
Zion Williamson chose not to answer the media's question about whether he had lost 20 pounds from his listed weight, after posting his second triple-double in as many weeks on Tuesday.
Williamson recorded 22 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds as the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Los Angeles Clippers 127-120, though they remain 14th in the Western Conference with an 18-48 record.
The power forward stood up to be counted as the pressure intensified during the final quarter, with 10 points, five assists and five rebounds.
"Once I found that rhythm, I just kind of got in that zone. I'd come too far to lose this game," said Williamson, who was also asked whether he was in the best shape of his career.
"I guess I'm going to do what I've been doing my whole career," he answered. "I'll let the media have fun with it."

Meanwhile, Pelicans coach Willie Green paid tribute to his star man after the win.
"When he makes his mind up that he's going to attack, there's really nothing teams can do," Green said. "He's been doing that lately, even in limited minutes.
"When he's in high-level conditioning, like he is, he's really tough to guard, and he's doing it all. He's rebounding. He's defending. Huge blocks. Huge rebounds.
"He split a double-team, went down the lane and finished with a monster dunk. Those types of energy plays really get us going."
"He's different," team-mate Bruce Brown concurred. "Once he turns it on, once he comes in and wants to be aggressive, nobody can stop him. Even if they have a big sitting in the paint, there's really nothing you can do."
