Cuthbert signs new Chelsea contract until 2027
Erin Cuthbert is the second longest-serving player at Chelsea, where she will remain until the summer of 2027 after agreeing fresh terms.
Erin Cuthbert has signed a new deal with Chelsea, keeping her with the Blues until the summer of 2027.
The Scotland international has extended her stay with the reigning Women's Super League champions, who she joined from Glasgow City in 2017.
Cuthbert is the second Chelsea player to put pen to paper on fresh terms this month, after skipper Mille Bright, who signed a new contract until 2026.
The 26-year-old has played over 250 times for the Blues, with whom she has won 12 major honours, including seven Women's Super League titles.
"It's been eight years, but the feeling of playing for this club never goes away," Cuthbert told the club's official website.
"If you had said to the girl who joined Chelsea eight years ago that she would still be here, I wouldn't have believed you. I have fallen in love with a club, and they have fallen in love with me. That's special."
"Erin is one of the leaders in the team and now in her prime," added Chelsea's head of women's football, Paul Green.
"We have seen her develop into one of the best central midfielders in the world, and look forward to seeing her continue to progress in the upcoming years."
