Slot given two-match touchline ban following Everton red card
Arne Slot has been banned from the touchline for two Premier League matches after he received a red card away to Everton earlier this month.
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has been given a two-match touchline ban by the FA following his red card after the final whistle in their 2-2 draw at Everton earlier in February.
Slot was sent off for his conduct after approaching referee Michael Oliver after full-time at Goodison Park and was one of three shown a red card after the whistle, alongside Curtis Jones and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Slot will now be absent from the touchline for the home games against Newcastle United and Southampton, though he is allowed to get back in the dugout for the Champions League round of 16 first leg against Paris Saint-Germain.
Having accepted the charge, Slot has also been fined £70,000, while assistant coach Sipke Hulshoff was also banned for two matches and fined £7,000.

Both Liverpool and Everton were respectively fined £65,000 and £50,000 for failing to control their players after the coming together.
The flashpoint in the match came after James Tarkowski's 98th-minute equaliser, which had sparked wild scenes inside Goodison Park, though Liverpool believed it should have been ruled out for a push on Ibrahima Konate.
While the goal was checked by VAR, it was not disallowed and Slot spoke with one of the assistant referees straight after the final whistle before shaking hands with Oliver, who sent him and assistant Hulsoff off.
Slot's red meant that he was unable to speak to the media after the match, but he later spoke about his annoyance at the amount of stoppage time played after just five minutes had been announced.
