N'Koudou and Aubameyang at the double to stun Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal

Neither Al-Ittihad nor Al-Hilal could take charge of the Saudi Pro League title race after being beat by Darmac and Al-Qadsiah on Monday.

Both Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad conceded stoppage time winners to stay level on points at the Saudi Pro League summit on a dramatic day of action on Monday.

Al-Hilal looked set to be moving a point clear of their title challengers after Georges-Kevin N'Koudou's brace earned Darmac a stunning 2-1 win over Al-Ittihad earlier in the day.

But Jorge Jesus' side failed to capitalise, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netting his second of the game late on to earn Al-Qadsiah a deserved 2-1 triumph for the hosts.

The pair of results leaves both Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad level on 43 points, but they remain six points clear of third-placed Al-Qadsiah after 17 games of their respective campaigns.

At Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium, Al-Qadsiah went ahead in the second minute after a short corner routine was placed home by Aubameyang from inside the penalty area.

Marcos Leonardo restored parity five minutes after the break as the ball broke kindly to him on the edge of the box, sending a sweeping strike into the bottom left-hand corner.

With the game looking set to finish all square, Aubameyang popped up with the winner after being slipped in by Julian Quinones in the third minute of second-half stoppage time.

Al-Ittihad can breathe a little sigh of relief following their earlier defeat to Darmac, with N'Koudou the hero for the side who now sit 10th in the Saudi Pro League standings.

N'Koudou opened the scoring in stunning fashion in the 17th minute, shifting the ball on to his right foot before rifling a fierce effort beyond a stranded Predrag Rajkovic.

That opening goal sparked Al-Ittihad into life, though Danilo Pereira, Saad Al Mosa and N'Golo Kante saw their efforts all blocked by Darmac's stern defensive rearguard.

However, the host's resilience was broken in first-half stoppage time when Karim Benzema headed home after being picked out in the box by Abdulrahman Al Obud's cross.

Though Laurent Blanc's star-studded squad continued to push for a winner, a moment of misfortune saw Darmac snatch all three points in the closing stages of the encounter.

Having already found the back of the net from distance, N'Koudou tried his luck once again and saw his strike deflect off Al Mosa, wrongfooting Rajkovic on its way into the net.
