Luis Enrique: Going through Ligue 1 season unbeaten is PSG's 'main motivation'
Paris Saint-Germain have already wrapped up the Ligue 1 title, but Luis Enrique is now focused on completing the season without defeat.
Paris Saint-Germain's "main motivation" is to go through the entire Ligue 1 season unbeaten, according to head coach Luis Enrique.
PSG have already wrapped up a fourth successive French top-flight title with six games remaining, ahead of welcoming relegation-threatened Le Havre to Parc des Princes on Saturday.
Luis Enrique's side overcame Aston Villa in midweek to set up a Champions League semi-final showdown with Arsenal, while they also have a Coupe de France final against Reims on May 24 to look forward to.
However, the recently crowned champions' primary focus is on becoming the first team to win the Ligue 1 title without tasting defeat, having won 23 and drawn five of their 28 games so far, and the head coach urged his players not to let their standards slip.
"We're preparing for future games in the same way. We can break a record, it's within the team's grasp," he told reporters during his pre-match press conference.
"It doesn't happen very often, and that's our main motivation. We're already champions. If you want to play for PSG and be here for many years, you have to play at the highest level at all times.
"Le Havre have a lot at stake. It will be one of the most difficult games of the season."

While PSG have dominated on the domestic front in France in recent years, the Champions League is the one trophy that has continually eluded them.
Runners-up to Bayern Munich in 2020, they are widely considered the favourites to go all the way in this season's competition, and Luis Enrique says the squad will "give everything" to do just that.
"We haven't achieved our objective yet," he added. "Since we arrived, our objective has been to make history.
"To make history, you have to win everything, especially the trophy you all know. We're going to give everything we've got to achieve that. What's important to me is the road to get there. It depends on us.
"We already played Arsenal at the start of the season. We know who we have to eliminate. They're one of the best teams in Europe. They've developed very well with [Mikel] Arteta, they're performing very well."
