A local hero, he scored his first one hundred goals for the Red Devils in just one hundred and thirty-one games and is currently part of Ten Hag’s coaching staff. His appointment would mark the continuation of Ten Hag’s project, which will be difficult to move forward even in the event of victory. 

Waiting in the wings is the German, who finds himself without a club following his departure from Bayern Munich as he waits for a project that really excites him, a project that could see him once again lift the Champions League trophy as he did with Chelsea back in 2021. He would view Manchester United as a challenge given how the club has underperformed in recent years, but Tuchel likes to take risks and would be the ideal manager to return the club to the peak of European football.
