Wagner scores 25 of 32 points in 4th quarter in Magic's win
Franz Wagner tied a franchise record with 25 points in the 4th quarter and the Magic beat the Pistons 121-113 to snap a five-game skid
Franz Wagner scored 25 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter to match a franchise record, Paolo Banchero had 32 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and the Orlando Magic beat the Detroit Pistons 121-113 on Saturday night.
Jalen Suggs contributed eight points in 16 minutes in his first game back after missing 10 games with a strained back. Wendell Carter finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds for Orlando, which ended a five-game skid.
Wagner’s 25 points in the fourth matched Tracy McGrady’s franchise record for points in any quarter. McGrady had 25 on March 9, 2003, against Denver.
Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 35 points and 11 assists and Malik Beasley added 18 points.
Detroit coach J.B. Bickerstaff was ejected with 6:01 left in the fourth quarter after getting two straight technicals.
Wagner hit two 3-pointers and scored 12 points in a 20-4 run, turning a two-point Orlando deficit into a 14-point lead at the outset of the fourth quarter. Banchero and Suggs also hit 3-pointers in the four-minute stretch.
After shooting 38.5% and missing 10 free throws in the first three quarters, the Magic made 15 of 18 shots, including six of seven 3s, in a 42-point fourth quarter.

Harden pours in 40 in Clippers’ win
James Harden scored 40 points and the Los Angeles Clippers overcame Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 127-117.
Norman Powell added 33 points and Kawhi Leonard had 18 in three quarters to help the Clippers end the Bucks’ five-game winning streak.
Antetokounmpo had 36 points, making 12 of 15 free throws, and 13 rebounds. Lillard added 29 points, going 16 of 17 from the foul line, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for his second triple-double in two days.
Harden had 12 points in the first half when the Clippers trailed by 11. He took over in the third with 17 points, scoring 15 in a row to end the period with Los Angeles ahead 94-93.
Powell's dunk launched a 14-0 spurt that Harden capped with a 3-pointer for a 112-100 lead.

Rockets beat Cavaliers again
Amen Thompson had his second career triple-double, Alperin Sengun and Jeff Green scored 26 points apiece and the Houston Rockets held off the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers 135-131.
Thompson finished with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, and Fred VanVleet had 20 points and six assists for Houston. The Rockets beat Cleveland for the second time in four days, winning 109-108 at home on Wednesday.
Darius Garland scored 27 of his 39 points in the second half for the Cavaliers. They have lost a season-high three in a row and dropped a half-game behind Oklahoma City for the NBA lead. Donovan Mitchell had 25 of his 33 points in the second half.
Cleveland also lost consecutive home games for the first time but is a league-best 21-3 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Cavaliers power forward Evan Mobley returned after missing four games with a right calf strain but was ineffective throughout. He had seven points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots in 29 minutes.
After Garland made two free throws to even the score with 1:51 remaining, Houston answered with a 10-2 run to seize a 134-126 lead, fueled by five points from Thompson. Mitchell missed a wide-open, potential tying 3-pointer with 27 seconds left.
