Dele Alli makes football comeback after signing 18-month deal at Como
After a turbulent few years off the field, Dele Alli will link up with Cesc Fabregas at Como as he continues his return to football.
Former Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli has signed an 18-month deal with Italian side Como.
The 28-year-old has been training with the club after his contract at Everton ended last summer and has now penned terms on a move that sees him return to top-flight football.
Dele has not played professionally since appearing for Besiktas on loan in February 2023, but will now have the chance to shine with the Serie A side.
Como are currently out of the bottom three in the Italian top-flight on goal difference and take on Udinese on Monday.
"The club believes in Dele's potential and is committed to helping him rediscover his best form," head coach Cesc Fabregas said.
"His experience and leadership qualities will undoubtedly benefit the squad."
