More to come from Thunder vows Gilgeous-Alexander after 60th win
Oklahoma City Thunder recorded their 60th victory of the season on Tuesday, beating the Sacramento Kings 121-105.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was delighted in the wake of the Oklahoma City Thunder's 121-105 win over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.
That victory brought OKC to 60 wins in the NBA so far this season, making them the first team to hit that mark.
It is also the most wins for the Thunder since the team moved from Seattle to Oklahoma after the 2007-08 season. The franchise record for wins is 64.
The win reinforced the Thunder's position at the top of the West, with a 60-12 record so far this season.
Against the Kings, Gilgeous-Alexander recorded his 45th 30-point game of the season – a league high – on the way to a record 11th straight road win for Oklahoma, tying with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the longest winning streak on the road.
"We play every night to get better, to become a better group ourselves," Gilgeous-Alexander said.
"That's the reason why we've clinched this early. That's the reason why we've been the fastest team to 60 wins in franchise history.
"No matter what we've done in the past, what we've accomplished, if we focus on using the opportunity in front of us to get better, we have to look up at the end of a season and be better, and that's all you can control."

Keegan Murray also scored 28 points, while Zach LaVine led the Kings with 19, though the home team have now lost four on the spin.
The Thunder opened a 24-point lead in the first half and, while the Kings scored 16 without reply early in the third quarter, they were never able to close the gap.
A dominant fourth quarter followed for the Thunder, securing their 46th double-digit victory of the season.
