Morant to continue with grenade celebration until told otherwise
Ja Morant swapped his gun celebration for a grenade one during the Grizzlies' 141-125 defeat to the Timberwolves on Thursday.
Memphis Grizzlies player Ja Morant has said that he is going to stick with his grenade three-pointer celebration until he is told that he isn't allowed to do it.
Morant was recently fined $75,000 for pretending to fire a gun in celebration of hitting a three, so moved onto different weapon during the Grizzlies' 141-125 defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday.
The 25-year-old went five for 13 from three-point range in a 36-point game on the way to defeat.
"That's my celebration now until somebody else has a problem with it, and I'll find another one," said Morant.

The NBA had deemed Morant's gun gesture inappropriate during their 110-108 win over the Miami Heat on April 3, while his fine was reportedly for the culmination of several incidents.
"I wasn't surprised, just for showing people what's pretty much been evident for the last two years," said Morant of his fine.
Morant clearly has the support of his team-mates on the issue too, with Vince Williams Jr. backing up his decision to go with a grenade this time.
"I would have went to that, too," he said.
"It's good for him, he gets to save his money. Anything that benefits him saving his money, I'm all for it, honestly."
