Club Brugge 0-0 Juventus: Bore draw keeps both teams inside play-off places
Club Brugge and Juventus put on an uninspiring bore draw in the Champions League on Tuesday, which keeps both sides inside the top 24.
Juventus were held to a goalless draw away to Club Brugge in a dour contest that provided little in the way of entertainment in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The result leaves Juventus in 14th on 12 points – one behind eighth-placed Aston Villa – with one game remaining, ahead of Wednesday's matches. Club Brugge, meanwhile, are one point back on their visitors in 17th place with a four-point cushion to 25th.
Club Brugge's best chance came in the second half when forward Ferran Jutgla slipped the ball through Pierre Kalulu's legs and drove his shot just wide of the post.
That was as good as it got for the hosts, while Juventus tested home goalkeeper Simon Mignolet from distance late on through Manuel Locatelli, but he was equal to it.
Juventus' league stage rounds off with a home game against Benfica next Wednesday, while Club Brugge travel to Manchester City on the same day.
